How to update your Emirates ID in the UAE
Emirates ID serves as proof of identity for UAE nationals and residents. The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship issues Emirates ID cards (ICA). Because Emirates ID is so important, it’s crucial to double-check that it’s correct. Whether you need to update personal information or correct inaccuracies, the procedure for changing the data on your Emirates ID is the same.
One of the most crucial documents for UAE residents and citizens is the Emirates ID card. The Emirates ID can be used for a variety of purposes, many of which can make life easier for UAE residents. It can be used to handle medical insurance and as proof of residency when traveling in and out of the UAE, for example. This is why it is critical to keep the card up to current at all times.
Identifying the type of information required for an upgrade to an Emirates ID
- The data on the Emirates ID card is divided into two categories: key and non-key.
